Winter Wellbeing.

The Winter Wellbeing campaign aims to support local communities through a COVID winter.

With another national lockdown in force and a ‘long, hard winter’ on the horizon, charities and community projects alike are set to face more devastating months ahead. To help ease the pressure, we want to offer a helping hand.

So far this year, thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, the Foundation has distributed more than £3.5m to organisations in the West Midlands who are responding to issues caused by COVID-19.

Earlier this year we raised £400k through the Coronavirus Resilience Appeal but now, through the Winter Wellbeing campaign, we want to raise a further £600k and hit £1m!

As always, all money donated will support communities in the West Midlands and Warwickshire with more grant programmes currently being developed to meet the ever changing needs of our region.

But it’s not all about money, we’re encouraging people to #DoMoreLocal!

So, how can you get involved?

You can donate any amount via our Virgin Giving, all the details are below.

Alternatively, you can #DoMoreLocal! We want you to:

  • Volunteer at local charities / grassroots organisations
  • Donate items such as food, clothing or presents
  • Check-in on vulnerable people in your area

We want to see how you’ve supported the wellbeing of people in your community! Share your stories, photos or videos with us on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #DoMoreLocal!
