The Foundation are delighted to have partnered with the Muslim Charities Forum (MCF) in a bid to help Muslim charities in the West Midlands better connect with funding opportunities.

Heart of England Community Foundation wants to be recognised as a fair and inclusive funder. By working with MCF it is hoped that the Foundation can build stronger relationships in diverse communities and that will lead to a higher grant application success rate from black, Asian and minority ethnic led organisations.

Tina Costello, Foundation CEO, said:

“Working alongside MCF we want to support Muslim communities as best we can with our available grants. The Foundation recognises there is a higher rejection rate in applications from minority and ethnic groups, we want to understand why and help them get the tools they need to support their communities.

“We want to offer as much support as possible to ensure great projects are being funded throughout the West Midlands and Warwickshire.”

Starting this partnership MCF will be hosting a webinar with the Foundation for Muslim led organisations. The webinar will feature the Foundation’s funds and provide an opportunity to ask questions. To register click below.
