John Taylor

I’ve been a senior manager in the public and charitable sectors across the West Midlands for the last 20 years. My consultancy company works with a wide range of clients including Walsall Council, the MA, Avon and Bristol Law Centre and Black Country Together C.I.C.

Between 2001 and 2013 I was the Head of the Big Lottery Fund in the West Midlands, responsible for investing around £50 million annually to community groups. I’ve lived in the West Midlands for the past 25 years and I’m also a local Magistrate and appointed to the Lord Chancellor’s Advisory Committee.

I chair the Management Committee and Grant Making Committee for Birmingham and Black Country and have led on Quality Accreditation and Strategic Business Planning.
