Kingshurst Community
Fund

The Kingshurst Community Fund is a grant programme for projects in Solihull that support children, young people and families and aim to strengthen the local community by implementing activities that bring the people in Kingshurst together. The Fund is also designed to ensure that local community spaces, assets, and buildings are used for the benefit of the community.

The Kingshurst Community Fund is supported by Colebridge Trust, Seeds of Hope, Kingshurst J&I School and local church leaders.

There are grants of up to £300 available for projects that support:

  • One off community activity e.g., community picnics
  • Activities that bring the community closer together
  • Community arts projects
  • Children and young people
  • Inclusion and diversity
  • Community cohesion
  • Health & wellbeing

Individuals wishing to submit an application must work with a local constituted organisation or group. The Solihull MBC Community Development Team will provide support and guidance and will be able to put you in touch with an organisation or group who may be willing to support your application – you can contact the Solihull Community Development Team (Solihull MBC) via cdt@solihull.gov.uk

Support and information can also be provided by Colebridge Trust. Individuals must demonstrate their understanding of safeguarding and must work with their chosen trusted organisation and adopt their safeguarding policies.

The application deadline is May 31st with applicants being notified by June 21st.
