The Torrington Fund

This fund has now closed.

The Torrington Fund is managed by the Heart of England Community Foundation. The main purpose of the Torrington Fund is to support people living with physical / learning disabilities to lead full and active lives.

With grants of up to £2,000, the fund will support charities, constituted voluntary and community groups that focus on supporting people living with learning disabilities to achieve the following:

• To learn skills to help them live more independent lives
• Participate in a wide range of social activities
• Activities which help them to stay active
• Activities which enable families / carers to have a break

Grants must be spent within a year.
