Corporate Case Study
Band Hatton Button
The Foundation met with one of the partners from Band Hatton Button (BHB) at a professional networking event and were delighted when a few weeks later they offered to host a Charity Ball in support of their work. The evening was a great success, attended by over 200 guests and raising over £9,000.
The Band Hatton Button Fund was created at the Foundation and the team at BHB chose some projects in the local community to support with a grant from their fund.
One such project was St Alban Angels, a mother and toddler group based in St Albans Church, Stoke Heath in Coventry. The group had thrived in recent years but they needed to refurbish the area the group use so it was a safe and environmentally friendly area, especially for messy and wet play. They received a grant of £1,962 to create an area with a washable floor and increase storage for toys which will help sustain the group for many years to come.
“At Band Hatton Button we are delighted to continue to support The Heart of England Community Foundation as our firm’s dedicated charity. We very much enjoy working with the team at Heart of England and in particular working closely together to decide which projects the funds we have raised are awarded to”.
